FIGHTING FOR
YOUR CHOICE
The Ketupat Bawang Party (KBP) was birthed on 9th April, 2024 under the stewardship of Wan.
The Party's formation finally offers the household with a choice—to end his mother's Ketupat Pasar Party's decades-long dominance in Hari Raya staple cuisine, through fair, democratic Ketupat Elections.
WEAVING THINGS RIGHT
The Party's logo resembles the onion bulb-like shape of a ketupat bawang, with three green strips and a red check.
The three green strips reflect the Party's three principles: nature and sustainability; cultural values; and growth. The red check symbolises taking courageous action in doing the right thing.

THE WAN FOR YOU
After learning the art of weaving the ketupat bawang, just like his late grandmother in the kampung, Wan stepped up to contest his mother's dominance of ketupat pasar within the household's Hari Raya cuisine.
Since contesting in the first Pilihan (Hari) Raya in 2024, Wan has shown promising results in offering an alternative—with his best performance in the Ketupat Elections 2024, achieving 45% of total ketupats weaved.
Wan remains committed in maintaining this diversity, with aspirations for the Party to govern as the staple Eid cuisine.
